Vertical Living Shaped by Landscape and Light
Organized as a ground-level arrival and entry lobby with four residences above, the building uses its vertical form to create a deliberately intimate alternative to conventional multifamily development. A predominantly glazed exterior wraps around curved corners, softening the building's mass while opening the residences toward expansive views and natural light.
Inside, interconnected spaces, double-height conditions, interior overlooks, and carefully positioned circulation create a more spatially dynamic residential experience. The relationship between architecture and landscape continues at ground level, where the building meets a pedestrian boardwalk framed by the wooded setting.
The study investigates a residential architecture that is simultaneously urban in density and residential in experience—transparent, sculptural, and closely connected to its natural surroundings.
