Located in the up and coming Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, this multi-family brownstone basement renovation addresses severe interior dark zones and fragmented circulation. The design reconfigures the narrow floor plate by inserting a partially underground living space,meant to increase the leaseable FAR of the unit.
