Industry Reimagined Through Environmental Learning
Enviro-Tech High School anchors the transformation of Cleveland’s Steelyard district from a legacy industrial landscape into a connected, sustainable urban district. The school’s weathered steel enclosure recalls the material character of the site’s manufacturing past, while its undulating glass roof introduces daylight, transparency, and a distinctly forward-looking identity. Set within a restored river landscape and linked to transit, pedestrian paths, and the surrounding green business district, the project treats the school as more than a building—it becomes a civic and educational catalyst where architecture, infrastructure, ecology, and environmental technology are integrated into the experience of the campus.
